Finally I am back at my drawingtable after vacation and (very wellknown) postponing after that!
I am trying out inks, very seldom used by me. The ink-pens used are Staedtler Pigment liner.
First I draw only important shapes in graphite and then starts the ink-work. I find it very different from working in pencil (graphite), as the value-differences can only be achieved by numbers of strokes. With graphite you have the ability of using different grades (hard/soft), and pressure of pencil.
Of cause the look of ink also differs from graphite, in my eyes giving a very illustrative style.
