Here is my progress with the lynx in ink. Lots of strokes here. The Staedtler Pigment liner comes in a variaty of sizes, I have been using the smallest 0.05 mostly, but also 1.0.
It looks SO good! I know what you mean about the difference between graphite and ink pen. I get frustrated when i try to blend values gradually, using the ink pen. I find myself stippling, which I don't necessarily want to be doing. I see you make tiny directional strokes to layer up the values... I like that style!
