"The feather boa" serie Cabaret Girls. My 2. drawing in the serie. The feathers boa dates back to at least 1820 and has been seen as anything from elegance to vulgar. It is an efficient tool i cabaret dance.

Cabaret girls serie

Maler på den anden Cabaret Girl. Stadigt miniformat, dog er jeg gået fra 15 til 20 cm kvadrat.

Painting my second Cabaret Girl. Still miniature, but did go from 15 cm to 20 cm square.

Jeg er igang med forsøg med små akvareller. En serie af mini-malerier, der har titlen "Cabaret Girls" og denne første "The Pink Balloon". På billede 2, kan du se mine skitser.

I am working tests with small watercolors. A serie of miniature paintings, with the title "Cabaret Girls", and this first one "The Pink Balloon". On pic 2, you can see my sketches.

 

Portrait in watercolors - wip

I am following a "portraits in watercolor" course, and it's working fine.

My portrait will probably end up more realistic than the teachers, without too much significant extra "topping". I have enough to do painting the portrait itself :) With more experience I will try out the added spice of drawing back into a portrait with personal lines and pattern.
