Jeg har nydt at male lotus blade, frøstande og blomster. Motivet drager mig med de store flotte blade i kontrast med de delikate blomster og frøstande.

Billedet er sammensat af forskellige reference-billeder.

Maleriet er 60 x 80 cm, malet på et almindeligt lærred, som er grundet med Golden Qor, så akvarel vil binde på.

Jeg har haft lidt svært ved at få foto'et svarende helt til maleriet, men det her kommer nærmest.

My watercolorpainting "Lotus" is finished. Series: Botanical Beauties.

I have enjoyed painting lotus leaves, seedheads and flowers. The motif is alluring to me with the large beautiful leaves in contrast with the delicate flowers and seedsheads.

The composition is composed from different reference-shots.

The painting is 60 x 80 cm, painted on an ordinary canvas, that has been covered with Golden Qor, so that the watercolor will adhere.

I had a little difficulty to have the photo match the painting, but this is as close as I can get it.
