Black labrador in pastels - wip 1




I have started my first black labrador retriever drawing with pastels. I use pastelpencils and hard pastels. Support is Clairfontaine Pastelmat. I took my reference picture at a dog-show a couple of years ago.

    Off to a lovely start Lene ... black coated dogs are quite a challenge aren't they? Look forward to watching progress on this lovely lab

    Thanks Sue, yes I also find black dogs a challenge - especially in a color media :)
