Snowy owl - loose watercolors


I am working on a loose watercolorpainting of a snowy owl. The support is new for me, a canvas for watercolor.
It is very nice to paint on, the paint layer well and runs easily. It takes a while to dry though, but that is not just bad.
I am sure I will use this canvas' again, I like to work on it, and it will look nice when hanging.
I will finish it in this week.

    Thanks jennifer. Sorry I do not have a brand name. I actually think the canvas is made by the shop. I Did read somewhere that You can apply coats of gesso to canvas, and then use watercolors. But i bought this one cheaper Than the ordinary canvas !

    yeah, i've done the gesso thing, works well. :) works pretty good just using the gesso on random pieces of wood too.
