I have come far with the second horse, as you can see.
The drawing has been in jeopardy - my hubby spelt water over my drawingtable. You can see some of the damage below the first horse; this paper will not take water.
Also at outer right - you cannot see it here - I had to cut off some of the composition. Still, I believe an acceptable composition including 3 horses, will be saved. But no-one is allowed to bring water near my table ever again!!!
Oh dear, bet hubby wasn't popular for a while! I do have water and coffee in my workroom but do try to keep drinks away from my drawings .... but there's always a first time!!
ReplyDeleteWhat paper are you using? could you disguise the marks by introducing a little coloured pencil perhaps? From your photo I can't really notice the damage but happy that you will be able to recover some of your hard work.
thanks Sue - the paper is mellotex. Not a good mix with water, but I believe I can save a composition worth finishing :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck. I love Mellotex paper (thanks to Mike Sibley's recommendations) its great for graphite but not so good for cps.

ReplyDeleteI must admit, I did not fall in love with mellotex at first sight ;) but am getting used to it, anyway
