I have started a new drawing of Jutland horses, called Going Home. Here I'm working on the first one.
I took reference photos from an agricultural show years ago, and wanted to do this for a long time. The draft horses are amazing animals, so big, heavy and beautiful. These are Jutland horses, a danish breed. You wouldn't know from a b/w drawing, but they have the most wonderful golden color with light mane and tail.
