Gentle giants - irish wolfhounds

I have now finished my "Gentle drawings".
I wanted to show this gentle, giant breed in surroundings represent its long history back in time.

I have enjoyed drawing different textures, each giving me a challenge.

From the beginning I wrote, my intention was to make a series of purebreed dogs in a scenery, and I still want to. But so far, I have other plans, and as this is the most timeconsuming graphite drawing I've done so far, I might scale down new drawings.

I hope you enjoy it.

Yet another update. I hope to be finished or at least very near completion this weekend!
sorry the pic is quite pale!

Gentle giants - irish wolfhounds

I finally have an update from my irish wolfhound drawing. As you can see, I decided to draw gravel for the ground.

Drawing table

Hurrah, I've got my workarea extended with a new drawing table. It will be great that I don't have to move everything forth and back, when working on more than one piece.

It is not because I am good at working on several artworks, even it happens. It is more in the situations when an assignment, a competition/show occurs or I wanna try something new. Then I can go straight ahead.

Especially when painting, there are a lot to clean up and move around.

As you can see, the table is just arrived - still empty. But that will not last long...

After a very long break, I am back with my drawing of the irish wolfhounds. Not much added yet, but hopefully I can soon post more.
