Himalaya Darling

My Red Panda watercolorpainting ended up being a mix of realism and abstract. 

The title is "Himalaya Darling".

 I painted this as an entry in a competition, we'll see how that goes. Anyway I am satisfied with the mix. I want to explore more like this, perhaps in acrylics or mixmedia.

Large Birds Spoonflower challenge

Maybe you've noticed I am often drawing birds ;) there is such a wonderful variation in the world of birds. 

But for this next Spoonflower challenge, you must submit Large Birds. I go with herons, cranes, storks and flamingos in my pattern along with golden elements, to support Spoonflowers briefing of luxus: "Let your favorite feathered species flock onto your walls as you design a habitat of birds perfect for luxurious home decor." 

The pastel green background was my favorite from the different colors I tried out. "Large Birds" patterndesign.

Southern Ground Hornbill - finished

"Southern Ground Hornbill" - en gigantisk og utroligt udseende fugl, der lever i Afrika. Jeg har nydt at gå i detaljer og få fuglens udtryk og særpræg på papiret. Efter mange timers arbejde, er jeg stolt af resultatet.

"Southern Ground Hornbill" - a gigantic and amazing looking bird, that lives in Africa. I have enjoyed going into details and get the birds expression and character on paper. After many hours of work, I am proud of the result.
