Weekly painting - Who gets the ball?
Inspired by several artists/illustrators blogs a la 1-painting-a-day, in my latest newsletter (download here), I have sat the goal of one painting a week. Not at least to keep myself on track - despite all obstacles meaning lack of time - to keep drawing and painting every week of the year.
This week has been hectic, but I managed to make this small picture: "Who gets the ball?" A illustrative style with ink and watercolors.
22x22 cm on Hahnemuhle Bamboo paper
Why I draw and paint
I have made a new page on my website: Why I draw and paint? to tell you a bit about my inspirations.
Take a look here
Tuxedo cat
"Tuxedo cat" is a coloristic painting with emphasis on expression and coloring.
I had a lot of fun painting in this looser style with watercolor, and wanted to paint an acrylic too. The actual method and final look are very different - the fun is equal :)

Painted on acrylic board. 30x40 cm.
Snake escape I + II
Snake Escape I and II, are mixed media abstract paintings I just finished.
The starting point for this series is just the word "snake", I then create an abstract painting from that.
The medias used are Staedtler pencil, WinsorNewton and Lukas watercolors, FaberCastell pitt pens and Caran d'ache neocolor I.
24x32 cm on Hahnemuhle Bamboo paper.
Badut lady
In my onlinegalleries I have a gallery called "Lively ladies, where you among others can meet the Badut lady(impossible to translate I'm sorry). I have just painted her on running wheels. Earlier painting on ball.
A lively, whimsical and proud captivating person, who likes to act.
Akrylic paintings 40 x 40 cm.
