Farvel små fugle || Goodbye little birds

"Au revoir Tournesol" og  "Last Dance Cattails".

Min proces

ENGLISH:

At my last exhibition, the company was very happy with these 2 drawings, which I included as art prints. In the future, they will adorn their entrance area, where they hung perfectly over a small table, as you can see here. So I'm happy to say goodbye to these little birds :)

These are drawings that are popular among my prints.

The series is called "Fall" and the drawings are called resp. "Au revoir Tournesol" and "Last Dance Cattails".

My process

I first drew "Au revoir Tournesol" because I was quite fascinated by the withering sunflower.

I think there is a special mood in the dying flower. I felt like drawing a little sparrow. Animals and birds are my favorite motifs, and here was a nice location on the plant.

I'm also pretty crazy about down hammer, also here where it is about to wither. And another little sparrow fits in the scenery.

The drawings took me a space of time as there are lots of details. The sunflower in particular took me both a long time, but also several attempts. In the end, however, it all managed to get a satisfying sunflower look;)

I have considered adding more to the series when I grab the pencils again :)

Take care of the birds

By the way, we have to take care of the birds to that extent. Many have disappeared in recent years, especially because their food - the insects - are disappearing. Also a reason to create growth for more insects. And then climate change also plays a role in relation to bird life.

Bird lover?

If you love birds, you can see I have a lot of prints of many different species - in addition several paintings :)
