Southern ground hornbill - wip

I admit, I am facinated with the amazing hornbill birds.
I did a serie (Colorbirds) in loose watercolors including some of the speices.

Now I started out with a graphite drawing of a Southern Ground hornbill. A large african bird.

I have a lot af exciting textures to render from very black feathers to the tough enormous beak.

Perfect Stripes - its a tiger

I am currently painting a new acrylicpainting in the Perfect Stripes serie. This time it's a tiger.

The winner of my Giveaway in december 18., wanted to see a tigerdrawing or - painting, so that task will be solved along with the expansion of a serie.

I am always making such a mess, when I paint with acrylics. I can't understand when I see a picture of painters wearing fine clothes while painting :0  - so you will excuse this awfull apron I wear ;)
