Miss Flora - renewed

Miss Flora is a painting from 2017. I liked a lot about this female painting, but I was not quite satisfied. 

Sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint what you dislike in a painting - especially in your own work, as it is closer to your heart. But it is better to stand back, and really try to analyze what bothers you, than showcase an artwork you are not happy with. 

Now 2 years after, where Miss Flora has resided among other paintings in my studio, I have renewed the painting. I liked her face, hair and sensual clothing. So it had to be the background. Then I had to figure out what to do with that.

I decided for a much more dark colorscheme, with more complimentary colors. And a pattern at the bottom.
 

In my goal of painting a serie of exciting personalities, a bit out of the ordinary and with extreme hairstyles, I am now happy with this first lady. Miss Flora.

I still need a name for the serie, but painting more of these women, I think it will appear.

New ideas - handmade prints

I found a new love: the process of handmade printing. I find it very exciting, and I am sure gonna print more. These I particually like from my first try. "Abstract", "Woman" and "Pink elephant"

Hey, one of my favorite thoughts about drawing dogs in the first place, is that you and many other people will like them and want them to decorate different products, like a (favorite) mug, t-shirt, towel and much more.

Perfect Stripes - Zebra 2

Jeg har efterhånden tegnet og malet flere zebraer.
Jeg finder dem både søde og smukke. De ligner søde, små heste, og deres smukke stribede pels, hører til en af de flotteste i dyreriget, synes jeg.

Her hænger min seneste zebra, som er Zebra nr. 2 i serien Perfect Stripes.
Serien er ikke kun forbeholdt zebraer, der er foreløbig også en oryx. Den næste i serien, bliver også en anden art end zebra.

Jeg nyder synet af zebraen af min stue, inden den drager på udstilling - dog bliver den indrammet inden.

I have been drawing and painting several zebras.
I find them both sweet and beautiful. They look like sweet, small horses and their pretty striped fur, are among the most beautiful in the animal kingdom, I think.

Here is my latest zebra, it is Zebra no 2 in the serie Perfect Stripes.
The serie isn't only about zebras, so far also an oryx is painted. The next animal in the serie, will also be another speices than zebra.

I enjoy the zebra on my livingroom wall, before it is off for exhibition - it will be framed though.

Labrador retriever tusch

Så er den dejlige labrador retriever illustreret med tusch :) Labradoren kan være sort, brun eller som her gul :) Og du kan selvfølgelig finde den sammen med de 100 andre hundedesigns i mine Doggyshops :)
