The Ball-game is Over

Hi
my latest colorpencil drawing "The Ball-game is Over". The 4 english bulldog pups having a great time playing is now soooo tired. I've posted a couple of pics to show the progress of this drawing... The original size is 20 x 50 cm (8 x 20 inches). I sell prints of this through http://www.starving-artists.net/index.htm?~daugaard.htm (UK) and http://www.artwanted.com/artist.cfm?artid=18760 (USA)
Grey Wolf - final update
Grey Wolf - wip

I've started this drawing of a Grey Wolf. It is approx. 11.6 x 14.4 inches and I use 2 specific photo-references + a couple of back-ups. This scan only shows a part as I am drawing the whole, lying wolf.
This is going to take some time, as I am now working full-time as an employee (graphic design) so have patient watching this, please... hope you enjoy it anyway
Lady - a cat who loves baskets

Sorry that I haven't been around much lately here ... (several new images on http://le.daugaard.googlepages.com - be sure to check out).
Here is a wip of Lady, who is a cat who loves baskets. That is why this portrait shows her in one ;)
She is drawn as a gift from my brother to his girlfriend, who is Ladys "human". After some lurking from Lady, my brother is now accepted and allowed to pad and cuttle her .... cats often have to have a little time to accept new humans, don't they ?
The drawing is done with colored pencils.

Competition Winner

The winner from my competition has been choosen - picked randomly by number. And the lucky winner was a pomeranian "Soffies Dame Edna" owned by Charlotte Andersen. I draw the dog in graphite + painted her in watercolors. Now I am waiting for Charlotte to pick her choise. Here are both pictures for you to see....
English Springer Spaniel

this is the final portrait.
This was my 2. attempt to draw/paint this dog. When I just got "into the flow" of it, it worked smoothly and nicely.

Here is an update of my drawing
Histarted a portrait of an English Springer Spaniel. Took the ref-photo at a dogshow. The first digi-file is only showing half the portrait :)
PORTRAIT of Norwegian Buhund - WIP

I am currently working on a portrait of my own dog. She is a Norwegian Buhund, named Björka. She is an elderly lady of 10 ½ years. She is such a lovely companion.
I paint the portrait in colored pencils. This is mostly Derwent Artist pencils, with a few FaberCastell Polychromos and Karisma also. But it was my idea to make some drawings in 1-2 brands and because Karisma is soon gonna dissapear from the european marked as artsuppliers run dry, I have to build up my supplies with other brands. I have access to these 2 brands in open stock, which is what I want. And I like them even rather different from Karisma pencils...
the paper is rather smooth, but still takes some layers. And the DWA and FC P sticks fine to it.
Here is an update, with the finished portrait
